My secret is out...

Every week my students write stories using as many of their 15 vocabulary words as they can. The ones that use the most words and are well-written, creative stories get put up on the board, which they have now named the "Wall of Fame."

Today I was reading one where the student has transformed herself into a superhero. In this particular story, her superhero identity was saving her best friend and teacher (my cooperating teacher). Why did she need to be saved? She was being held captive by the evil-plotting Ms. Foster... who was trying to take over the world.
